Women are more than passive objects to be looked at, valuable only for their aesthetic appeal. This blog aims provide opportunity for people to see women as the complex beings which we are. Feel free to contact me at zacynthus@gmail.com. Submissions are more than welcome!

I let this tumblr slide because for a while I thought there wasn’t a need for it. Maybe women have enough images of other women doing more than just being beautiful on things. Maybe there is enough representation of the chaotic diversity of women’s lives where do things. We work, we live, we play, we fight and so on and so forth into infinity. Today I remembered that isn’t true. That there are few spaces where women are seen as full human beings. In that spirit, from today onwards I will continue to attempt to find images that reflect the diversity of women’s experiences. If you would like to contribute to this project of capturing the subjectivity of womanhood then please do submit an image.

The last four days I have been in constant movement, no time to be still. It still sometimes feels like I am just on a long adventure, after which, I will return home to Atlanta. I don’t know that…
